Jason Ma (He/Him)

Jason serves as this year's Basic Needs Pilot and Programming Intern by identifying service gaps, developing and supporting program initiatives, and helping respond to emerging student basic needs. His work focuses especially on strengthening support for underserved student populations. As a first-generation college student, Jason’s own experience using basic needs resources motivates him to continue this work and support other students. He speaks English, Vietnamese, and Mandarin Chinese. Jason grew up in San Gabriel, California, and enjoys working out and baking. He is an incoming third-year student majoring in Data Science and Statistics with a minor in Chinese
