Svara Deshmukh, (She/Her)

Savara Deshmukh is the KPI Tracking & Data Analytics Intern who collects, cleans, and analyzes data from Basic Needs Partners to understand and improve program development through data-driven methods. She is a 3rd-year double major in Linguistics and Statistics & Data Science from Fremont, CA, who is passionate about data science for social good and about using computational methods in the humanities. She is excited to use research and data science to report on and implement policy changes with Basic Needs at UCSB. In her free time, Savara enjoys playing rugby, trying new recipes, or reading a new book.
