About

Madyson Soto is a Basic Needs Peer Advisor who connects students to food, housing, and financial aid resources. She acts as a bridge for students to connect with resources available by directly linking and assisting in application processes. She has history with the Campus Store, where she developed a fondness for helping students, which developed alongside her aspiration to become an Ethic Studies educator. She has seen the areas in which students feel lost, which led to her pursuing a role with basic needs. She is fluent in English with an intermediate understanding of both Italian and Spanish. She was born and raised in Santa Maria, where a deep love for French horn and reading was made. These passions have pushed her to major in English with a minor in Chicana Studies.
