Maria Fernanda Vega is a CalFresh & Basic Needs Peer Advisor who assists students in navigating food and housing resources, with a focus on CalFresh outreach and application support. Her experience working with peers and advocating for student wellness inspired her passion for connecting others to essential campus services. She is a Sociology major with a minor in Applied Psychology and speaks both English and Spanish. Originally from the Bay Area, Maria enjoys sunset walks by the beach, baking, and journaling.
