About
Ava Miller is an English-speaking biological sciences major from the Western Band of the Cherokee Nation interested in a medical career. She is looking forward to bringing together UCSB's Native community as the Native Families Food Security Intern for the 2025-2026 school year, in which she will be reaching out to the Native student body of UCSB to provide nutriment information, resources, and workshops. Outside of school, Ava enjoys caring for her Kenyan Sand boa, "Dairy Queen," in her free time, and has recently re-acquired an interest in obtaining her Private Pilot License. She is also writing a speculative fiction book with a proposed publishing date of 2027.
