Simon Kogure-Takama (He/Him)

Simon Kogure-Takama serves as a Student Coordinator intern for the Halal and Kosher Grocery Program. He is a third-year CCS Marine Science and Geography GIS double major at UC Santa Barbara. Simon is responsible for overseeing the logistics of weekly grocery bag distributions for the program's over 45 participants seeking halal-and kosher-certified food options, having experience in various food and resource accessibility roles over the years. In his free time, Simon enjoys photography and music curation, with some of his favorite artists including Aphex Twin and Cocteau Twins.
