Adri uses she/her pronouns and is fluent in English. She works at the Basic Needs Advising Center as a CalFresh Advocate. In this role, she helps students by guiding them towards resources that provide food and housing security, access to technology, and other basic needs. What drew her to this role was her experience working as a cashier at Target. This position not only fostered great customer service training, but many who came to her lane to check out utilized CalFresh to purchase their groceries. The purchasing power that these customers had inspired Adri to want to work in a field that helped others gain that power for themselves. In her free time, Adri enjoys a nice beach day, watching the Dodgers, going on a run, and embroidering.
