Hi my name is Angie and I am transfer student from L.A. I am sociology major. I am so grateful and ecstatic to be working with an amazing team. As someone who had experience with food and housing insecurity with no financial support. The UCSB community has been a savior since my transition here from L.A. My role as a Basic Needs Advisor and Calfresh Advocate has helped me ephasize the importance of all the resources here and how helpful they are to students. My goal is to make sure that all students know that no matter what UCSB has your back. I understand the feeling of being alone and not having a clue on where to go or who to ask.
