Hello everybody! My name is Ashley and I am a part of the Edible Campus Education team focused in the Methodist Garden as well as an outreach coordinator. I just started this position the Summer of 2023 and I'm in charge of reaching out to several different organization off and on campus so that others that aren’t that familiar with planting and gardening can experience learning more about these topics! Some fun workshops that I have recently lead has been with the Elementary youth at one of our Greenhouse Gardens. Since I myself am mixed and bilingual, my hope for the upcoming school year is to be able to connect with different organizations like Chicanox and other POC programs so that those communities also get to have the opportunity to learn about the basics about gardening and inform them of any resources available to get started with gardening!
